PV Cycle

recycling solar panels with PV Cycle programme

The environment is close to our heart: which is why GH Solar is committing itself to putting the PV Cycle programme into practice. In supporting this programme, we are opting deliberately for a responsible environmental policy, both short and long term.

PV Cycle was founded in 2007, when the photovoltaic industry took the decision to set up a voluntary 'take back & recycle' programme. In doing so, the PV industry assumed full responsibility: from making through to recycling solar panels.

First generation solar panels last for around 25 years: so earlier models are still up for replacement. Replacing them must be not only financially viable but also environmentally responsible. That is precisely why GH Solar only makes energy solutions that reflect how solar panels affect the environment all the way through their life cycle, right through to recycling. In brief, with PV Cycle, GH Solar is green twice over: green energy and green recycling.
