Knowledge is power. This is why in 2009 a cooperation project was started with the Leuven University College Group T and Leuven Catholic University (more particularly the Electrical Engineering department of the faculty of engineering sciences).
This cooperation concerns on the one hand the development and operational capability of a test set-up for solar panels and on the other hand the data collection and analysis for this.
In 2010 the research was extended: since the market has more and more need for PV panels with specific components and dimensions we had these tested so as to determine whether the components have a positive / negative effect on the performance of the whole panel.
In 2011 and into the future such external scientific analysis – in addition to R&D by our own engineers and technicians – will be crucial to continue to guarantee the best quality for our solar panels.
